I would like to thank everyone for approving of such large investments in our army. We seek peace but peace can only be defended with force. I would like to thank Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 for taking on this challenge and the Polish army for choosing the best Polish suppliers," said Deputy Prime Minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
“The Polish Armaments Group is a strategic partner in the technical modernisation of the Polish Armed Forces. The Wisła programme, implemented on the Polish side by a consortium with Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 as an integral part, is one of key projects of the Polish Armaments Group. It is gratifying that the role of Polish companies in the programme is expanding and that the contract amounts are increasing. Not only will they strengthen the financial condition of these companies but also constitute a basis for developing new projects of their own. And most importantly, thanks to these projects, the Polish Armed Forces will receive necessary modern equipment. WZŁ1 is making good use of the opportunity which is its participation in these long-term programmes. The company thus confirms that it is a trustworthy partner which offers products of world-class quality”, emphasised Adam Leszkiewicz, CEO of PGZ S.A.
For WZŁ nr 1 S.A. it is not only an all-time biggest contract in terms of value but above all a confirmation that the Company is trusted by the representatives of the Polish Armed Forces who are responsible for the development of Poland's modern defence capabilities.
“MCC is a key element of the air defence system within the Wisła Programme, so it is with pride that we undertake this task. We know how important reliable communication is in operational environment and we will do our best to deliver equipment of the highest quality. It is the greatest technological challenge in the history of our Company but also a confirmation of the Company's readiness to execute the most demanding projects. The contract is the result of many months of intensive work by the entire WZŁ Nr 1 S.A.’s team and excellent cooperation with the Armament Agency”, said Sławomir Obszyński, President of the Management Board of WZŁ Nr 1 S.A.
