Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A.

Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności No. 1 S.A. produce and service communication equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces and other uniformed services. The company also offers other equipment, used in command and control positions at various levels of the Polish Armed Forces. In addition, as a satellite operator, WZŁ-1 S.A. they can provide services to both the military and civilian sectors.

 

The Company during its activity as a main integrator and supplier, executed MOD programmes related to manufacturing and modernising mobile field communication systems as well as programs of mobile digital communication systems for the Polish Telecommunications.

Roman Tętnik has over 25 years of managerial and consulting experience, both in Polish and foreign business organizations.

He as a manager at international consulting organizations (AMROP International, Spencer Stuart); an advisor and consultant for international corporations operating in Poland in the field of FMCG, banking, manufacturing, logistics; a change manager, a private entrepreneur (IT, mass media and services).

He is an expert in the field of staff selection and team building.

He has specialized knowledge of the military procurement market, cooperation between military sector businesses, management of manufacturing and service companies in the military sector.

Since 2016 he has been on the Management Board of WZŁ No. 1 S.A., responsible for the development of the Company’s military business: for contracts with the Polish Ministry of National Defense, cooperation with partners in strategic programs for the Polish Armed Forces and for their institutional environment, as well as for the Cyber Security area.

He graduated from the Faculty of International Trade at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), completed his MBA program at the Faculty of Management of the Lublin University of Technology, as well as the following post-graduate courses, inter alia: IPMA Project Management (International Project Management Association methodology), Financial and Corporate Aspects of Supervision and Management (PGZ System). In the course of the numerous years of his work for multinational corporations, he completed multiple internal training courses in the field of management, organizational leadership, negotiations and coaching.

He is proficient in English (Certificate of Proficiency in English, Cambridge University), and has a good command of Russian (Ministry of International Trade’s exam)

In his personal life, he practices swimming and sailing. He is interested in geopolitics.

Jarosław Robert Kudelski, Ph.D., has multiple years of managerial experience, both in private business and in the public sector. In the years 2007-2017, he held a series of managerial positions in the National Bank of Poland (NBP), being responsible, inter alia, for communication with the public and for several NBP’s business projects. He was a co-founder and the first director of NBP’s Interactive Money Museum (Centrum Pieniądza im. Sławomira S. Skrzypka). Previously, he worked in the mass media/publishing sector for numerous years, heading, inter alia, marketing, strategy and advertising departments at Przedsiębiorstwo Wydawnicze "Rzeczpospolita" SA, Hachette Livre Polska, Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne and the Stock Exchange’s gazette "Parkiet". In 2017-2018, he was Director of the Communication Department at the Polish Securities Printing Works (PWPW S.A).

He has been involved in the armaments industry for several years: from 2018 to 2021 he was Director of the Department of Innovation and Engineering R&D in the Polish Armaments Holding (PGZ), responsible for the integration of experts and R&D projects. He was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CTM R&D Center in Gdynia, and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PIT-RADWAR. In 2019-2020, he sat on the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Management and Command at the War Studies University in Warsaw. He completed a course for senior government representatives and managers of the European defense sector (SERA) organized by the French University of National Defense (IHEDN).

He graduated from the Warsaw University of Physical Education (AWF), obtained his Ph.D. in the history of philosophy and completed an MBA EXECUTIVE curriculum at the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.

In his personal life, he is keen on combat sports (holding a master rank of the Kashima No Tachi School of Japanese swordsmanship) and the history of the World War II (he published several books in this field, including "The Last Transport of Gold of the Third Reich" 2020, "The Lost Rafael" 2014, and "The Secret of the Riese" 2010).
