WZŁ-1 S.A. acquires new competences in the project for the Polish Police

On 9 June 2021, the 3rd stage of the NCBiR project entitled "Mobile Forensic Platform (MPK) for fast identification at the scene of a mass casualty event: terrorist attack or disaster" was successfully completed by a consortium consisting of the Warsaw University of Technology (Politechnika Warszawska), Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. and Hagmed Sp. z o.o. Spółka Komandytowa.

Representatives of the Communication & Information Technology Bureau of the Polish Police concluded ICT testing, confirming the Platform's ability to operate within the Police database environment.

WZŁ-1 S.A. played a very significant role at that stage. Our experts have developed sheltered workspace for operators to carry out forensic tasks at the scene, including, among others: the detection of DNA traces, cell phone record analysis and monitoring. In cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology, we have installed additional equipment, carried out vibration and acoustic testing and prepared the mobile forensic platform for operational use.

New skills acquired during the project, new experience gained, and readiness for new challenges will certainly add new capabilities to WZŁ-1 S.A.
