WZŁ-1 S.A. HAS DELIVERED ANOTHER BATCH OF TCCs TO THE POLISH ARMED FORCES
Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności No. 1 S.A. is executing one of the largest contracts in its history and has delivered this year’s first batch of Transmission Communication Centers (TCCs) to the Polish Armed Forces as the next stage of the contract signed during the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce.
The contract signed on 6th September 2022 covers the delivery of 43 TCCs together with a logistics and training package. The successive handover of further units confirms the smooth implementation of the program and the commitment of the WZŁ-1’s teams responsible for the design, production, integration and preparation of the equipment for operation by the end user.
TCC is a modern communications center which provides transmission links between communications nodes of command posts within the backbone network of the Polish Armed Forces. It enables connections using radio relay, radio and fibre-optic means, ensuring reliable data exchange in demanding operational conditions.
The solution has been developed based on experience gained over years of operating TCCs. It is characterized by significantly greater transmission capabilities and full interoperability with modern command systems, including those used in the WISŁA and NAREW programs.
TCC is mounted on the chassis of a Jelcz P882.53 truck with an armoured, four-person cabin. Its distinctive feature is a 33-metre lattice mast fitted with antenna systems, enabling the establishment of broadband radio links over considerable distances. Thanks to that TCC ensures high data transmission rate and effective establishment of mobile ICT infrastructure for command posts.
The handover of the new batch of TCCs constitutes an important step in fulfilling WZŁ-1 S.A.’s commitments towards the Polish Armed Forces and confirms the Company’s competences in supplying modern communications systems that meet the requirements of the contemporary battlefield.
