During MSPO 2023, in the framework of a broader Framework Agreement regarding NAREW, our company signed Execution Agreement UW-3 regarding supply of launchers adapted to cooperate with IBCS. The scope to be covered by WZŁ No. 1 includes delivery of some parts for NAREW launchers, i.e. the mast with the warhead and the data link module. In addition, as a member of PGZ-NAREW Consortium, WZŁ No. 1 signed Execution Agreement UW-2 concerning delivery of missiles for NAREW short-range air defense program. The two above mentioned Execution Agreements implement provisions of the Framework Agreement signed on 7 September 2021 in Kielce during MSPO 2021 by the then Armament Inspectorate (MoD) and PGZ-NAREW Consortium. It is worth mentioning that PGZ-NAREW Consortium received an award from the Polish Minister of Defense for that project.

The above agreements will allow WZŁ No. 1 to acquire new capabilities to maintain and repair (depot maintenance) the cooling system of the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS). The Offset Provider will deliver technical and training documentation, instrumentation, and provide training as well as technical assistance on the job. In early December 2023, WZŁ No. 1 signed another contract with the Cyber Resources Center of Polish Armed Forces for a comprehensive satellite communications system for Polish Military Contingent (PKW) in Iraq in the year 2024. WZŁ No. 1 has been providing a satellite bandwidth for the Polish Armed Forces for more than 10 years. In addition to the bandwidth, the contract include operation of communications as well as maintenance of hardware and training. This is a particularly important task to provide communications to Polish troops outside the country, where reliability and security of transmitted information are crucial.

CONTRACTS IN PROGRESS

Implementation of TCC Contract - Finalization of subcontracts in TCC project

The contract for delivery of AŁC-T (Mobile Digital Communications Center-Transmission, TCC in the English language) is the largest contract signed by our company to date under which we will supply the Polish Armed Forces with state-of-the-art technical solutions for tele-transmission. The contract is also of key importance for our company's technical competence and expansion of its production infrastructure. For a proper and timely implementation of the General Agreement concluded by WZŁ No. 1 with the Armament Agency on 6 September 2022 we had to contract many sub-tiers and vendors of key hardware and eqipment necessary for the final product integration. All contracts were successfully finalized last year.

Implementation of MCC1 Contract: Phase I has been completed

Last year representatives of the Contracting Party, i.e. the Armaments Agency accepted first phase of the project, confirming the compliance of the formal documentary requirements with the technical assumptions made. Thus, the contract successfully passed this stage of implementation. The next stages of the project are ahead of WZŁ-1 S.A.. They will include, among other things, a number of tests and studies that will confirm the compliance of the Employer's requirements with the manufactured Product. It is worth mentioning that this is a completely new product, which has not yet existed in the Polish armaments industry. The positive opinion of the Armaments Agency and thus the closing of the first stage of the contract confirmed our ability and competence to implement modern and advanced communications systems. It is worth mentioning that WZŁ-1 was one of the first companies, representing the Polish Defense Industry, to participate in the work of implementing the IBCS system in products dedicated to the defense of the Polish sky. By creating the Mobile Communications Center (MCC1), WZŁ-1 took care of the possibility of integration and cooperation between national and coalition systems. Confirmation of the originality and innovative technical solution of our Product is the DEFENDER Award, which we received at this year's MSPO.

Implementation of RWŁC-10/T Contract: Phase I has been completed.

WZŁ No. 1 in consortium with Transbit Sp. z o.o. have completed Phase 1 of RWŁC-10/T contract. The purpose of the contract is to refurbish 58 RWŁC-10/T communications shelters, adapting them to the requirements of the modern battlefield. According to the time schedule, the consortium is to complete the contract in 2024. In 2023, our company completed Phase 1 of the Contract, i.e. refurbished 42 shelters. In late December 2023, all 42 refurbished shelters were delivered and accepted by the Army, concluding Phase 1. In addition, as agreed under the contract, 42 RWŁC-10/T crews, i.e. 127 operators, were trained by WZŁ No. 1 in 2023. Their training, ending with examination, was conducted on our premises, and was divided into theoretical and practical parts.
