The Mail Module

The Mail Module Shelter in a 10ft container on Jelcz 442 vehicle has been designed to exchange unclassified and classified postal matters in the national and allied system up to „TOP SECRET" security classification and secure information processing in the national and allied system up to "RESTRICTED" security classification level. Moreover, it enables the system connection to Communication Node of Command Posts via the digital HF, UHF, VHF/UHF radio systems & digital or analogue telephone terminals,  and provides access to a local computer network LAN.
Moreover, it is equipped in one power generating set of 8 kVA, ensuring power supply of the container's units with electrical energy of  the voltage 230 V AC (±) 10 % and the frequency of 50 Hz. The Mail Module is fitted for wheeled transport  as well as for transportation by rail, air and sea.

The Mail Module provides and enables:

  • acceptance, storage and distributionof postal matters, including postal matters up to "TOP SECRET" security classification level;
  • secure information processing in informatic system up to "RESTRICTED" security classification level in the national and allied system;
  • handling of 500 up to 1500 postal matters (letters up to A-4 format) daily;
  • cooperation with the Mail Exchange Point (PWP) of own Command Post (SD), elements of the Military Mail Station (WSP), the superior and neighbours;
  • the system connection to Communication Node of Command Posts via the digital HF, UHF, VHF/UHF radio systems and digital or analogue telephone terminals,  and provides access to a local computer network LAN;
  • exchange of postal matters within the framework of missions, being fitted for operational use in all seasons of a year, in the night time and daytime, in different conditions in all climate areas having weather environmental parameters defined according to defence standards NO-06-A101:2005 and NO-06-A103:2005;


The Mail Module Shelter fulfils, inter alias, the following norms standards:

  • NO-06-A101:2005 and NO-06-A103:2005 - concerning environmental parameters;
  • PN-EN 55022 – concerning permissible emission levels for radiated and conducted emissions for class A;
  • NO-06-A200:2012 in the range of effects of exposure to electromagnetic field radiation KRS-02 and conduction KCS-01 i KCS-02.
